Bowie fell in love with music at the tender young age of 6, when her parents signed her up for violin lessons.  Since then, her passion for music has led her to learn basically any instrument she can get her hands on.  She considers guitar and bass guitar her main instruments, but also plays drums, piano, sings, and most recently has been plunking around on a custom 3-string cigfiddle from Baratto Guitars.

She's toured the US multiple times, played hundreds of live shows, and recorded on numerous albums across a variety of genres.
